Privacy Policy
Draft, pending legal review before public sign-up opens. Effective date will be set then.
1. Who we are
DotDeployer is operated by Seller Tally LLC. This policy covers dotdeployer.com and the DotDeployer application.
2. What we collect
When you sign in, we store your email address, display name, and a unique identifier from our authentication provider (Firebase), plus the timestamps of your sign-ins. When you connect a DigitalOcean or GitHub account, or set an environment variable for a site, that credential is encrypted before it is stored and is only decrypted to perform the action you asked for. We keep a log of deployment jobs (what ran, when, and their output) so you can see what happened to your own deployments.
3. What we don't collect
We do not read the source code or data inside the applications you deploy, beyond what is needed to build and run them on your server. Our website analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) does not use cookies or collect personal data, and does not track you across other sites.
4. Who we share it with
We use DigitalOcean (to provision and operate the server you connected), GitHub (to read the repository you connected), and SendGrid (to email you about your own deployments). We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
5. How long we keep it
Account and deployment data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your stored credentials and personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to keep billing records by law.
6. Your choices
You can disconnect DigitalOcean or GitHub, remove an environment variable, or delete your account at any time. Contact us to request a copy of your data or to have it deleted.
